Residency Requirements

Little League International requires all players within a program to reside or attend school within the defined boundaries of the league. Little League further defines a player's residency as the address of that player's parent or legal guardian.

The boundaries for Colonial Little League are the Townships of Independence, Hackettstown, Liberty and Allamuchy. In addition, if your participant goes to school within Colonial Little Leagues' boundary, they are also eligible to participate.

Annually, Little League requires THREE documents, dated prior to February 1st of the current year, to prove a player's address. The most common documents include:

  1. Drivers License
  2. Vehicle Registration
  3. Vehicle Insurance Document
  4. Utility Bill
  5. Voter Registration
  6. Home owner or tenant record

Or, One School Enrollment Form. To be filled out by the School Administrator, Principal or Vice Principal.

These documents may be required by Colonial Little League at the time of Spring registration. (New players in our Fall program may be required to provide proof of address at the time of registration.)
